Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I’ve had the privilege of living in vibrant communities across North America including Halifax, Nova Scotia; Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Hamilton, Ontario; Memphis, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; and Boulder, Colorado. I’ve also traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States, enriching my understanding of diverse communities and cultures. This diverse background gives me a deep appreciation for the unique qualities that make every home, neighbourhood, and community unique and special.
As a husband and proud father of three, family is at the heart of everything I do. My 18-year-old inspires me with his dedication to fitness and entrepreneurial spirit. My 9-year-old fuels our home with the rhythm of his drum practice, his love for Harry Potter, and his dreams of becoming a professional soccer player. And my 3-year-old keeps us smiling with a budding passion for gymnastics, fashion, and bedtime stories.
Outside of work, we spend much of our time on the water fishing for salmon and crabbing or prawning —rain or shine—and every summer, we embark on a month-long boating adventure through the stunning Gulf Islands or Desolation Sound. At home, if we're not playing a board game, you’ll find me tending to my 135-gallon aquarium or perfecting the arts of homebrewing and gourmet cooking, hobbies I’ve cherished for nearly two decades.
